Wine is the soul of poetry… In this installment of SAUCE’D Season 1, Frank and his wine buddy, Camilo, roam the marble streets of Verona with one destination in mind – Antica Bottega del Vino – one of the most iconic restaurants in Italy. While Verona’s center is mobbed with wine enthusiasts and producers during the days of VinItaly (episode 3, part 1 & 2), Frank and friends hunker down inside the enoteca- Mecca of Bottega. Known for it’s infinite wine cellars and signature dishes such as Tartare di Cavallo (raw horsemeat) and Risotto all’Amarone (red wine risotto), the gang enjoys the scene as much as the gastronomy.
